Seafood at its best

Hello Everyone. I had to write a small blog about my favorite seafood restaurant. Its name is Market Broiler. The food is delicious and the service is great. Although the drive is a bit long we don't mind because we like good fresh seafood & my children love crab. In my opinion the price is very reasonable for the portions that are served . My family and I choose from the Creative combinations "trio" I get the crab legs, tri tip steak & roasted chicken with red potatoes as my sides. The crab legs are decently big and full of meat, the steak is cooked to your choice it is tender and juicy, the roasted chicken is juicy in the inside add a bit of their BBQ sauce to it and it gives it a great sweet taste, the potatoes are so soft and well seasoned I always add melted butter to it (mmmmmm.. makes me hungry thinking of it) .  I can tell you that most restaurants we have been to and we ordered crab legs we end up getting skimpy little legs & since that's my childr

I made 28 of these adorable owls last year for my sons class Halloween party. IT was a great success the parents loved it they couldn't believe I made them all and of course the little kids liked them as well. Hope some of you give it a try and if you do let me know how it went.Remember you can change up the colors they don't necessarily need to be the ones i used, use your imagination and have lots of fun! Is my baby too young for Disneyland

Image
(please take note that this is my Personal opinion) I think the real question should be "Am I ready to take my baby to Disneyland." Most parents feel that they want to get their moneys worth or want the child to remember their first Disney trip. I cant say that your child will remember their first Disney trip until they are considerably older and if you don't want to wait that long then I can give you some advice and tips from our recent trip.WE took our daughter when she was 5months I believe we choose the perfect age  because she was old enough to sit up, look around and stay awake longer. I wouldn't recommend to take a new born baby or younger then 3 months the reason being that they sleep longer and tend to be more sensitive to loud noises and Disneyland has much of that. Also take in mind that there's a great amount of visitors and a new born babies immune system may not be as strong.  For your convenience Disneyland has a Child care center, which  absolut

I made these goody buckets for his birthday party back in July. I bought the buckets at Target in the Dollar Section! and all the candy at the local Dollar Tree (the candy also had superhero characters). Once i saw the buckets I grabbed all of them lol. I knew i would not find them anywhere eslse for such a resonable price. (I looked) The Price for ech bucket filled up came up to about $3 each bucket maybe less.

Rainforest cafe ( San Francisco)

Hungry for food and want a fun view for you and your family? Well my favorite and my kids favorite "Rain Forest Cafe" the name says it all a restaurant,Bar,& store in the theme of a rain forest. Its filled with animatronics such as Gorillas, elephants, birds & trees. It is an exciting experience for children and adults. I personally love the food there is plenty to choose from. You pay for what you get the plates are large and even the kids menu is plenty for one or two children. My favorite is their rotisserie chicken and their poatao chips. Recently we bought our membership that includes some nice perks like 10% off the store & 10%of the bill or appetizer. They have a promotion going on for the membership here is the link so you can check it out on your own   http://www.rainforestcafe.com/safariclub.asp .  I like it because we can use it at any of their chain restaurants and coming this August will be going to the Rainforest Cafe in Disneyland. For the Cars Fans

Image
This post is specially for all the little Cars fans. We went to visit the Disney store in San Francisco because we were told that only in that Disney store & Disneyland your child can build there own car which was  inspired by the Movie Cars 2 . I have seen something similar at Disneyland but not with any of the characters in the movie. So basically you purchase the Car and any car parts that you will like, it varies from mufflers , lights, rims, wheels etc. The  price of the car ranges since they also have remote controlled ones. Once you purchase the Car and parts you can choose to either take it home to assemble it or ( My favorite) part is that your child can assemble it in the store where they provide a little mechanics section . Below are some pictures I took inside the store.                                                          Address : 39 Stockton St                                                                        San Francisco, Ca

Girls Head band [[D.I.Y]]

Image
HEllo hello! Today I finally made time to make my baby girl her head band for her professional pictures that she will soon be taking. I love the new look of big flowers on tiny heads because it makes a statement. Awhile ago we went to the mall with the attempt of finding  head band that I visioned in my head. I seriously looked at all the stores at the mall and either the head band was too big around her head or the flower didn't pop out as much as I wanted it to. I did see some at another store days later but it was $6+ and not in the color I wanted. So i took it into my own hands to make some myself. like the saying goes "If you want something done right, do it yourself" All the materials I purchased totaled up to $3 per head band. My materials were purchased at Beverly's ( a crafts & fabrics store). You can  find most of these materials at your local fabric or crafts store. Materials *Glue gun & 2 glue sticks *elastic ribbon (your choice ) *flower (yo
