DIY Corkboard Jewelry Holder

Hello friends! Here is the latest little project i did. I did it out of frustration that my necklaces and bracelets would get tangled up together. if you gals know what I'm talking about you know how it feels when your in a rush trying to get ready and you have a Ball of jewelry to try and untangle. So with that said i found 4 cork boards in my closet that i purchased about 2 years ago ( 2 years! i know right) anyways here is  what you will need to make one for yourself . Also FYI I love mine.Enjoy !

Materials Needed
-glue gun & 2 glue sticks
-3 Cork boards
-paint & paint brush ( your choice)
- ribbon ( any size)
- knobs( your choice)
-brads
-scissors
-thumb nails

Notes: Use a thick cork board if you have heavy jewelry about 1/4 of an inch thick. Tape the inside before painting to avoid paint smudges on the cork board<------something I should have done  i made a paint mess..

Cork Boards

Folk art paint

paint the edges of the board

2Knobs

Apply hot glue on the back of each knob

attach the knob press for about 5 sec.
apply glue at the top corners to hold the ribbon

place the ribbon on top of the hot glue then apply more glue on top of the ribbon

the result .let it dry for 5 min

The brads and thumb nails i used . you can find both at your local arts & crafts store

the back of a brad

cut the brads (legs)be careful they fly out
apply glue to the back of the brad make sure its nice and flat

quickly press the back of the thumb nail on the glued side of the brad

Finish your project with any design you like get creative or leave it as simple as you want. Then hang them .
